I managed to borrow a 20D and some nice lenses (EF 24-105mm f/4L and EF-S 10-22mm) from work for a weekend and so Alwin, Shu and myself went on a little trip down to the north side of Sydney harbour to take some night shots. Unfortunately, when we got there, we found out that the lights had been turned off on the Harbour Bridge and surrounding buildings (this included the Opera House).
Bah!
We later found out that this was due to the "Festival of the Stars" event and so the lights were turned off so that the public can get a better view of the stars. Ah well... that will teach me to check next time.
This was the first time that I got to play with an SLR and so most of the time I was experimenting to get a feel of the reduced DOF. As a result, most of the shots that I took had not enough DOF. Shooting in low light also made things a bit harder.
Anyway, here's what I ended up with. Feedback and comments are most welcome.
